Personalized Education Program (PEP)
The Personalized Education Program (PEP) is part of the Florida Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options through the Florida Department of Education.
PEP is designed for families who choose a more flexible, parent-directed educational model. Students participating in the PEP program are considered home education students who receive educational services and support through approved providers, hybrid programs, tutoring, and other educational opportunities.
ABA offers hybrid educational support services for PEP students, which may include:
• In-person instruction and academic support
• Hybrid classroom learning opportunities
• Curriculum guidance
• Academic assessments and progress monitoring
• Small group instruction
• Faith-based educational enrichment
• Parent support and communication
Students enrolled in the PEP program may attend classes on designated campus days while completing additional educational activities at home under parental supervision.
Parents remain responsible for overseeing their child’s home education program and ensuring compliance with all Florida Department of Education scholarship requirements.
Our program is designed to partner with families by providing a safe, Christian-centered learning environment with individualized educational support.
PEP Attendance & Participation Policy
PEP students participating in hybrid services through ABA are expected to attend all scheduled in-person instructional days assigned to their program.
Attendance is documented for all on-campus instructional sessions, tutoring sessions, assessments, and academic support services provided by the school.
Because PEP is a parent-directed educational program, attendance for home-based instructional days is maintained by the parent/guardian in accordance with Florida home education and scholarship requirements.
Parents are responsible for:
• Ensuring student participation in educational activities
• Monitoring academic progress on home-learning days
• Maintaining any required educational records
• Communicating absences for scheduled campus sessions
Students who demonstrate excessive absences from scheduled in-person services may be subject to academic review or program withdrawal.
Disclaimer
ABA is a participating private school/provider serving families utilizing the Florida PEP scholarship option. The PEP program is governed by Florida Department of Education scholarship guidelines and requirements.
